All Bacteria Are Not Born Equal Concerning Water Quality
Bacteria is often given a poor reputation, particularly when it is tested for in Water Quality. Not all Bacteria is created equal. While there are 5 known forms of bacteria known as coliforms that are found in most water supplies, there is just one strain that will pose a potential hazard if ingested either through the mouth, cuts, nose, ears or other skin openings. Of course, this particular strain does cause alarm but always testing high for a bacteria in a water source does not always mean that it’s hazardous.
There are 5 various sorts of bacteria known in coliforms that are sometimes present in Water Quality testing. The different strains are Citrobacter, E-Coli, Serratia, Klebsiella, and finally Enterobacter. Before going on, you’re probably already well too acquainted with the E-Coli strain and the actual one that is perilous would be E. Coli 0157:H7. Nonetheless the majority of the cases of a damaging E. Coli are a consequence of undercooked beef from animal products
In situations where E. Coli have discovered in a Water Quality testing location are uncommon. This would have been as the results of animal or people fecal contamination. The systematic fact that one would get ill would be due to the pathogens released.
The better news is, that when testing water for bacteria and coliforms they’re often simply identifiable. The great news is simply that if there was a check on the water for a specific bacteria and the test came back positive, the process for cleaning the water supply is relatively easy as the bacteria respond to treatment. Though the pathogens, whether discovered in the liner of a warm blooded animal or carried along by human waste, is a rather more difficult process. The bacteria alone is not in and of itself an obligatory reason for alarm.
What you must be more worried about is the protozoa’s that may be readily found in water. Protozoa’s are one of the main causes people become ill from water. Protozoa’s are as small as 1 micron.
Generally, the majority of water treatment plants filter and cleanse the water to safe levels. In older water systems, pathogen’s, bacteria and protozoa’s may infect the water after the treatment plants through damaged water systems.
If you are in doubt about the water quality, you must use a product like SureAqua to effectively remove the pathogen’s, bacteria and protozoa’s from the water. Always check on the filter that it removes everything above 1 micron and not just going over ionisation material like charcoal.
